Platform at Greencroft
The platform tennis court has been resurfaced and is now ready for play!Padel at Greencroft
Have you tried padel yet? Padel is one of the fastest growing racket sports in the country and is fun to play and easy to pick up. The sport, played with a lightweight paddle-size racket and slightly deflated tennis balls, is a combination of tennis, pickleball, and racquetball/squash. Once the ball hits the court surface it can be played again after it hits the glass walls or wire screens, making for long points.
Greencroft has padel rackets and balls that you can use any time. Contact Jason Grigg or someone in the office and they will tell you where the equipment can be found. On Saturday, September 16th, there will be a small padel round robin event taking place at
Greencroft. Please come by to watch and maybe hit some balls between matches.
In May 2022, we announced the opening of one of the area’s few 100% Pickleball-dedicated courts this summer.
The courts will be open to Full-time and Racquet members. Lessons and clinics with local pros will be available for an additional fee following the opening of new courts.
We look forward to joining the Pickleball community by offering brand new gorgeous courts, lessons and charity tournaments in the near future.
